How to use the shopping cart

1. The first thing you need to do is find the item you need to buy. There are two ways to do this, either by browsing through the category sections or by performing a keyword search. If you are not familiar with the layout of the site the latter option is probably best. You can use the search tool below to try it out for all products with "Spitfire" in either their names or descriptions. The key word has already been entered for you so just click the button next to the text box. 2. Once you have found a product you need to buy, simply check the quantity you wish to purchase (a quantity of 1 is entered by default; to modify this simply type over it) and click on the "ADD TO CART" button, as illustrated in the image below. This will place the relevant number of items in your shopping cart. Repeat this process until you have all the items you wish to purchase in your shopping cart.

3. For a running total of the number of items in you cart and the cost to purchase those items, there is invariably on the right hand side of the screen a blue box that provides this information, as illustrated in the image below. It includes all shipping and handling costs based on the cheapest option to a UK address.

4. When you are ready to purchase, please proceed to the checkout page using the link at the top of the page. The next page is the first stage of the checkout process and you will be presented with a list of the items in the cart and the cost to purchase based on shipping to the UK. At the bottom you are asked to confirm the shipping destination country. Once you have entered this information click the button.

5. The next stage of the check out process requires you to enter the invoice address, whether or not the shipping destination is different, the class of postage you wish to pay for and lastly any special delivery instructions.

6. The next stage asks some questions about your purchase, which are optional but of great interest to us, and at the bottom the method of payment. If you choose Paypal, Nochex or Worldpay, you will be redirected to their secure payment web sites to complete the transfer of funds using your credit card or ecash. When this has been done you will be returned to our web site where you will be presented with an invoice receipt. If you choose the option to pay by UK Bank Cheque and click the <Next> button, this finalises the process and takes you straight to the invoice receipt page. You are advised to print this page off as a record of your purchase.

7. You will receive a receipt by email and shortly after, when we have downloaded your order from our server and processed your order ready for dispatch we email you again letting you know it has entered our dispatch system. Once this takes place you should get your order within a couple of days.
