Step 1: Click on "My Account" and log in with your email and password.

Step 2: At the bottom of the Customer Service page click on the "Affiliate" link.

Step 3: Click on Affiliate Registration and fill in the Information form and then click Continue and you are done setting up your account.

Step 4: To ensure you get credited with referring customers to us insert your unique affiliate code into any links that direct your audience to The Model Catalogue. This can be done in a number of way (instructions can be found at https://www.themodelcatalogue.com/shopcontent.asp?type=affiliateinfo). As mentioned above if their visit results in an order being placed with us, then your affiliate account will be automatically credited to a tune of 2.5% of the value of the products ordered and processed. For example if you recommend that someone buys a model kit from us and it happens to be priced at £100, when the purchase is complete your affiliate account will be credited with £2.50! It is as easy as that. And needless to say the smarter and more active you are in recommending The Model Catalogue, the more you will earn!
Step 5: If your affiliate account value is above the payment threshold of £10 then you will have two redemption options. (1) Have the funds sent to you via Paypal or (2) Instruct us to exchange your affiliate account credit for loyalty points. The benefit of the second option is that these will be exchanged at a ratio of 11:10, which you can then redeem for a gift voucher and spend at The Model Catalogue. Let me further explain this redemption ratio: if you choose the loyalty points option, your account will be credited with 1 extra point for every ten earned through the affiliate scheme, which is essentially an additional 10% bonus reward!
Once you have set up your affiliate account and started creating links in places like modelling discussion groups or your own modelling blog, you will probably start to experience some success. This should encourage you to create and place links in ways that are more effective at generating visits to The Model Catalogue. Naturally we can help you in this endeavour and as part of this programme of assistance there is a dedicated mailing list that all affiliates will be subscribed to as a matter of course. The mailing list will also allow us to establish each month how you wish to redeem your affiliate revenue.
Once your affiliate linking skills really start to pay dividends, you'll be able to review progress through our reporting tools available through the Affiliate Service page.

There are three reporting facilities available:
1. Affiliate Report - This report provides summary information about the number of orders, the value of the orders and the commission earned, the number of successful links to the site and the last link date.
2. Order Report - This report allows you as an affiliate to view the orders that have been made through your account at The Model Catalogue. The report includes the number of orders made, the last order date, the commission earned on the orders made, the number of people who have visited The Model Catalogue site through your link and the last link date.
3. Link Report - The affiliate link report allows you as an affiliate to see when and how many people have visited The Model Catalogue through your links on a daily, monthly or yearly basis. You can choose a date range to view the links. You are then presented with a report which has the number of links for each period in the date range chosen, with totals at the bottom of the page.
